We are CIRCE Theatre, an English-language theatre company from Bonn, Germany, founded in 2018. The association emerged from the Bonn University Shakespeare Company e. V., which was founded almost 30 years ago and where the founding members, all Bonn artists and theatre professionals, met for the first time. We are dedicated to globalism, especially in theatre and performance, the public meeting place since antiquity. As a Creative International Repertoire Company Europe, we pay special attention to the themes of Europe and the future, as well as young and contemporary playwrights and actors who are yet to be made known, in order to make our discourse fit for the future.
